· We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired and infallible living Word of God; it is God’s complete revelation of Himself and His will to man. We believe that the Bible is the all-sufficient and divine authority for faith and practice. (2 Peter 1:20-21, Hebrews 4:12; 2 Timothy 3:16-17)
· We believe in the one true and living God who is the sovereign Creator and sustainer of all things. He is infinitely perfect and eternally exists in three distinct Persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, all equal in power and glory. (Isaiah 45:5-7; Genesis 1:1; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 5:48; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
· We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully human, born of a virgin through the miraculous conception of the Holy Spirit who lived a sinless life in His time on earth. We believe in His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, and ascension into heaven, where He sits at the right hand of the Father, advocating for those who have put their faith in Him. We also believe in the blessed hope of His personal and imminent return in power and glory. (Galatians 4:4-5; Matthew 1:22-23; Romans 8:34, Acts 1:9-11, Titus 2:13)
· We believe that man was created in the image of God and that man’s choice to disobey God brought sin into the human race resulting in eternal separation from God. We believe that salvation for man is only obtained by the grace of God through faith, in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ on the cross. (Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9)
· We believe in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from the Father and the Son to convict and draw sinners to Jesus Christ. He regenerates and sanctifies those who put their faith in Christ and seals them until the day of redemption. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, enables them to live a godly life, and equips them for service. (John 16:7-13; Ephesians 4:30; John 14:16-17; Galatians 5:22-23; Ephesians 4:11-12)
· We believe that Satan is a created being, a fallen angel, and an enemy of God; he is also an enemy of man, and all his works are evil and wicked. We believe that Satan is a defeated foe by God through the finished work of Christ on the cross at Calvary. (Isaiah 14:12-17; John 10:10; 1Peter 5;8John 16:11; Revelation 12:9-10)
· We believe that all believers are commissioned by the Lord Jesus Christ to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world and to make disciples of all nations and tongues. (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8)
